Based in Johannesburg, Brian Leib is an expert in high-end residential projects around the world. Viewing each project individually, his approach is influenced by the experiences that he gets as a passionate listener, collector and travel addict. Leib was chosen to create the innovative interior design of a luxury penthouse in Dubai!
Renowned for his signature sumptuous palette, Brian sees the interior design world as an opportunity to create liveable pieces of art. In every design project that he creates, the interior designer encourages his clients to add personal pieces of quality, so that the room or home decor has its own personal twist! “Overall we treated the project much as you would when designing a luxury car – every aspect of the interior had to be immaculately finished, using materials of the highest possible standard”, explains the interior designer.

Almost similar to a private boutique hotel, the living area is quite multi-functional space, since the generous conversation lounge is perfect for bigger social gatherings, while the other smaller spaces create more private areas.
The couture style in the living room flows right to the dining room decor, providing a sense of luxury that is needed in this interior design project. Right next to the dining room, we can find a sleek bar that is quite inviting with its Beige Onyx marble countertop and its rectangular crystal chandelier… An entertaining that is perfect for a business meeting or morning coffee.

In the master bedroom decor, we can find a faceted headboard in cream Alcantara leather. “Natural materials are an integral part of the suite, stone and marble have a timeless beauty and we worked with a superb team of artisans to get the results we needed”, says Leib. The exclusive bedroom, besides its own bath, also features a massive dressing space as well an entertaining area to enjoy a nice movie. Both of these spaces are decorated according to the theme of the master bedroom design.
The concept for the executive penthouse’s guest bathroom was a luxurious space with a monochromatic, masculine edge. Besides the use of exclusive materials like the black marble floors, the interior designer also incorporated a Swarovski-encrusted iguana artwork to add an extra touch of personality and flair.
